So what would you think about this eBay situation UPDATED

Actually what I am going to do (assuming the refund comes through as promised), is to leave no feedback at all.

There are only three choices: positive, negative and neutral. Well, obviously positive is out of the question. She certainly doesn't deserve negative, since she made good on her error. Neutral would be my choice, but sellers tend to consider that as negative, and I don't really want to damage her, so I'm just going to forget about leaving any feedback at all.

It's the best I can do.

Being this hot in FL, she should have store them in the frig. or around 60 degree. At least she gave your money back. Sound like she need to learn proper storage of hatching eggs.

People selling hatching eggs , can not just let them set on a counter for days before shipping. Some think week old are fresh, yes for eating ,but that getting old for hatching eggs.

I am really glad she is refunding the money. One slight possibility, however, if they were treated VERY rough in shipping, they could get tiny little hairline cracks (that can't be seen without candling the eggs). Those cracks allow bacteria to enter the egg and it will spoil FAST. I have had this happen. One seeping upon arrival and some that got nasty in a few days. I don't think the eggs were old. The difference in them not going bad when they are being incubated is, there is a live chick growing. The damamged eggs won't have the live chick and instead of growing will begin to decompose rapidly.

Wow good ending. And about Marie_Martin, I don't know what she puts in her water down there in Mississippi, but the eggs I got from her were popping out little healthy lively chicks left and right, right on time.
