If i am correct on the state of the poor little bird bodies, they must have died late the night before i picked them up, so i think they may have just run into the big heat of Tuesday while being shipped and it just became too much for most of them.
Now that i am a little less emotional, i am not entirely sure what the hatchery could do about that, unless there was some failure in the agreement with the USPS or....something.
i believe they are either covering shipping or they can call in the insurance the express shipping pays for with the USPS. So. We're going to try one more time and ...i am going to hope. Poor little things.
