OK, but I've been
and
and
all of my soaps and I can't really tell the difference between any of them. I'm not feeling a burn or any such thing, just a soapy taste.
Maybe I need to start
- ing the commercial soaps to see if I can tell the difference.
The fragrance oil I used for that batch was the Sweetcakes Almond FO. I used 120 oz. of oils, with 3 of those being Avocado Oil at trace. I only used 2 oz. of FO for that batch. 28 oz. of water and 14 oz. of the goat's milk, with the milk added after the lye/water had cooled down some. (Recommended liquid 30 - 45 oz)
The recipe I used is exactly the same recipe I used for the Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey, except in that one I used all goat's milk and added the honey. As far as technique, I did set the almond batch outside for a bit to cool it down. Still, it was only in the low-60s, so I'm not sure whether that would be it or not.
I'll take pix tomorrow and post them for you to see.
Thanks!
