Well I just listed 3 more soaps on Etsy. My melon one, all of my chocolate hearts, and some of my cinnamon oatmeal. When I went to take a look at my shop right after having finshed listing someone had already looked at the chocolate

But which product do you get from them? There are so many.

Do a search on Kraft boxes and you will find all sorts of boxes 100% recycled...I really just got what I liked....but that site has some GREAT packaging and very pretty professional ideas.

I only buy the KRAFT boxes because they are made in the USA> I also only buy food grade packaging for my soaps...it just made sense to me to do it this way.

I'm soaping right now - just waiting for the temps to come down on the ingredients. I'm making a Plumeria soap.

For the swap I just wrapped my soaps in a brown paper and printed a simple label based on a photocopy of our logo. Are any of you sending your soaps in the muslin bags? I'd love to see how those look. I'm not usually the wrapper in our group but I hope to show them some of your ideas so that we can adjust what we've been doing, which is poly bags. I thought those would be too difficult for smom to pack, so I rigged something else specifically for the swap.

I just finished my soap. I attempted a mild swirl but we'll see how well it turns out. I don't yet have my pink clay like I wanted to use along with yellow in my Plumeria bar, so I just did yellow and white. I have a feeling it'll be very subdued without the stark difference in color. For the yellow I infused the Avocado SF oil with calendula petals then stirred in some turmeric and strained it all. At trace, I pulled out some white from the big pot, then stirred the SF oil and fragrance into the oils remaining in the pot. When I poured, I alternated a little of the yellow and white, then added more white at the top and took a chopstick to it. I know, kinda backwards but I was aiming for more yellow than white.

I hope it's not ugly.
