Morning all. It's starting to firm up, but still isn't there yet. It was quite warm here yesterday (in the 90s) so I suspect that slowed the process some. This morning it's pulling away from the edges, but it had a strange pregnant area in the middle. I'm guessing an air bubble??? I pressed it down slightly so we'll see what happens with it from there. It's supposed to be warm again (upper 80s) so I hope that isn't negatively affecting things.

Green Irish Tweed

Here is another picture of the black raspberry cream. These colors are truer than the other pics.

They look great! Do you usually make a small batch to cut your sample sizes from?

I use this mold, log splitter and cutter. I get 72 bars from 2.5 pounds of oil. It takes less than 5 minutes to cut them all from mold into the little bars. I'm really trying to get into some of the local B&B and I needed even bars that will all be the same. I love the system. DH bought it for me with his gambling winnings.

I know he came back with $1500 over what he took

He has been so great, he also bought my table and shelves. I think it's so he can use the rest to buy a new motorcycle though and I won't give him a hard time

I know he really wants that dirt bike.

Morgaine - Your B&B soaps are beautiful! I love the colors of both of them. So, that's the result of the dark green infusion? It's a pretty color!

I really thought it would be darker, but the color is nice. I think if I had infused with comfrey only, it would be darker.

Thanks for the compliment. I've seen your etsy and I think you need to charge more for yours because they look great. I love the chocolate one and the one with green swirls are gorgeous and I am really impressed with the wrapped sandalwood one. I can't believe that you and BB can free hand cut that evenly. I am so jealous.

Thanks (blushing) That sandalwood one is from the bar mold I bought from Kelsei's creations. Its GREAT

There is no waste from me messing up a cut. But there are other soaps on there that are from my regular log mold. I am thinking a bout upping the price but I have only had 2 sales.
I've looked at other sellers on there and they do charge more so maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea

I guess I'm just to timid with the pricing and need to venture out a little
