I've never smelled anise

So lets talk about EO blends.

Pepper Zest!!! 1 part each of Sweet Orange, Lime & Lemongrass to 2-3 parts Black Pepper.

Mother Earth ... haven't figured out the ratios yet. It was a combo that was offered for years from "A Garden Eastward" who is no longer in business. Patchoulie, Sweet Orange, Cedar Wood.

Lemongrass & Sage Equal parts.

Mint and Lime (1:2) ... Can you say Mojito?

Rose Geranium & Chamomile...equal parts

We made my molds using that plan from Chesterfarms and they work great! We made several sizes and two were made with a panel that slips in to make two logs. I line them with freezer paper.

I also save my hershey cocoa powder containers. I cut out a big hole in the bottom of the plastic container and pour the soap in that hole. With the lid on there is a tight fit. When the soap sets, I take off the lid and slide the soap out. I then cut it the width I want. Makes a nice sized bar with rounded corners. I usually fill it up so there are four bards from each container.

I just got the 9 bar mold to start with. I made a jasmine soap last night with it so tomorrow morning I'll unmold it and know for sure if I like it or not - I think I will.

The first time I unmolded mine it was a little tough but it has gotten much easier since then.

I can't believe I just forgot. My beautigul Cinnamon Oatmeal soap that I made a few weeks ago and used scent on for the first time.... It has crystals where the cinnamon swirls are! But not every swirl has them

I cut a small sliver of the soap off where there were crystals and there are none through the soap, just on the outside of the bar. The rest of the soap doesn't burn or anything. What do I do?!

Here are pics of the soap that has crystals on just the outside. The very last picture are soaps that I cut to see how far the crystals went. They don't go past the top of the soap.

What should I do with them?
