Soap Makers Help!

I used red oxide and ultra marine blue for the colors and peppermint and vanilla for the scents. It smells like peppermint though. I am pleased with the outcome but I will be making another batch as soon as I get more oils.
My DH and I are still trying to come up with names for those 4 chickies, especially the white one

Is it normal for Lemongrass to be orange? This was the first time I've soaped it and it started out like orange sorbet and it has darken some, but it is most certainly orange. Thoughts? I did mix it with Rose Geranium oil, don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. I'll give a little bit longer in the air. Smells good though, onced soaped, the lg loss a lot of that deep earthyness and now instead of conflicting with the citrus scent, it really completments it. I can't smell the rose but I've got some sinus stuffiness and am having a had time picking out soft scents. Over all I really like the scent, but am not crazy over the color.

I spent all afternoon at a friends house. She does vinyl work and had a banner I could have. So I spent the afternoon over there having her help me with the design and she did the vinyl.

Nope, its the first saturday in June. I'm going to put up my table again and the sign this time so that I can work with that and see how it looks all together

You people are bad bad bad! I must admit to loving it when I made homemade soap. I have this huge love of homemade soap! Essential oils, herbs...........

For a while, when I was sick, I was able to purchase soap at Applegate from this wonderful soapmaker. Now Applegate pulled up stakes and took off to Mulberry and I don't know where she went. I haven't made it to many of the craft fairs to look for her. I do have her info though....

And my friend, with whom I made soap, told me she still has a big bucket coconut oil... if it's still good. Unfortunately the meth cookers have ruined soapmaking and now you have to purchase your lye online. No running down to the dollar general....

Stop it! Stop!!!.... I will not talk about soap making....

Now let's talk about herbal cosmetics......

Did I mention that I have tons of soapmaking, herbal cosmetic books....

Get out of my head soapmakers!!!
