Soap Makers Help!

I started felting more soap last night. I will have 4 OMH and I think 4 or 5 of my lime felted for Saturday's FM. I'm thinking that if I get more out on the table then just my 4 Blueberry Cobblers then maybe it will be better. Right now most people are giving the a funny look and ignoring them. I explain what it does and half of them are intrigued at least. I have sold 3 but has taken a while. Maybe the more the merrier? Maybe I could do a whole display of felted soaps

I don't, though I have used a few oganic oils, but that was befoe I was selling. I don't think at the market people are going to buying more if the bars are organic or not. I know CF has a few organic oil and the price isn't *that* much more than the non organics.

But it eally depends on your market. if you're getting into a high end store that caters to that kind of thing, than it would be worth the cost.

This coming October, our church will have a booth at the local festival (parade, carnival, entertainment). The booth will be two-fold - to advertise the Angel Food Ministry and to advertise the garden to give more folks a chance to be involved. It was suggested that we sell the soap at the festival as well.

The festival takes place over 3 days -
7 hours on Friday
11 hours on Saturday
9 hours on Sunday

It is expected to be attended by 68,000 people over those three days. Here's a link to the event:

So, how much soap do we need to make????? I'm told that there hasn't been a soapmaker at this event in the past couple/few years and from the looks of the vendor list, I suspect we'll be the only group there this year as well.

Edited to add: A good chunk of those people are children who I assume won't be buying soap.

I'm guessing at least 1000 bars to get you through 3 days, but 2-3 thousand might be better.
