That'll be good to do another exchange. I really want you to try this shaving soap that we're using and get your input. I think I mentioned that we had previously bought a commercial one based on reviews. It was nice, but I'm liking my soap MUCH better because it has the slip AND the moisturizing.

Sadly, until I replace my camera, there'll be no soap pix from me for a while. Man that just sucked! One moment I was walking on boulders and the next minute I and my camera were in 2.5 ft of water. I have it in a bag of rice to see if I can pull the moisture out of it, but have little hope that it'll recover.

How many ounces of clay do you order at a time?

Can't wait! Let me know when you're back in town and we'll get going on it. I need to be on a soap-fest again in the coming week or so if my dang knee will stop swelling up. It's an old ski injury that I had surgery on a number of years ago. Every once in a blue moon it'll get into a funk and I set it off hauling baggage up the stairs in the airport (escalator was not working).

And just when I have so much to do!

Is that Yellow Dock Root POWDER or only Yellow Dock Root?

I bought yellow dock root and ground about half of it up in a coffee grinder and then left the other half as root. I personally will only use the root from now on because the powder was a lot harder to strain out and I think if I had left it in the soap would be scratchy.

I hate when stuff like that happens. So far I have had excellent customer service from them. When I called about the lotion they were really helpful and the lady actually knew what she was talking about, not just reading off some script.

I meant to ask you about lotion base. Which one are you using? They have quite a few. I see they're getting ready to offer an A/H lotion soon. I may be interested in that for myself.

Have you ever tried making a lotion? TSC has a few recipes listed on pgs. 52 - 54.

I'm pretty sure I got the lotion base 1. It's nice, a lot of people have come back to buy more.

I haven't tried making my own yet. I wanted the lotion right away for the watermelon festival so I really didn't have time to do it.

I'll have to go back through TSC and see hers. I think teach soap has a basic lotion recipe too.
