Soap Makers Help!

Ok....sliced! I'm happy...with them all...still need to ripple cut edges and trim tops.
Liquid Chlorophyll Balsam Fir with confetti, Oatmeal Milk and Honey with grated soap on top and oats, White Chamomile confetti.
Color soaped back to green...a little more OLIVE than I wanted...but its balsam fir...so its all good.

dunchick...I'll definitely post photos of the bath teas....I'm excited about them. The bags are being printed with company logo on front and ingredients and directions on back of it...will not get them until next week. love me some nashville wraps!!

DH wants me to have everything I'll need for a while so that I won't run out and have to wait for something and not be able to soap. Anyone get the impression that he wants me to soap my fingers off lol My bank actually called to verify that I was the one buying all of this stuff.
Oh and I forgot. A new banner that does not have my Etsy store on it and new business cards as well. Those should be here by the 27th or sooner. I closed my etsy store today. I couldn't sell a thing

For the amount that I have sold on Etsy it hasn't been worth my time and money.

HOLY MOLY...that is a lot of stuff. It's like a Soaper's Christmas at your house!

Etsy is totally saturated...I sell more face to face...and only put up my website on Yahoo Merchants for 3 months a year October-December. It's more cost effective....but last year I only had appx 40 or so orders on my website....right before the holidays only...then nothing. Craft fairs are where its at...and I need appx 1000 bars of soap for that and right now I'm only at 600...and its the end of august. I've got to get soaping more...school is starting...kids need me....doing tutoring at the school during the day...starting wednesday....need more time...maybe I'll just forgo sleep!

I think its a better deal...on yahoo. 20 orders on etsy of $20 would cost you $18...that is the same amount for yahoo almost....and there are better shipping options etc. I think I'm going to run a FLAT rate shipping plan only...cost would be $9.80 for up to 13 lbs. Easier than trying to figure out all those zones...forget ups, fedex...USPS is hurting and we need to help them out!

I would like to give soap making a try is there a good web site that would be a good starting place for making soap?
