I'll be soaping by the weekend.... I did a wonderful frankensense/murrh/bergamont and a lemon/orange last night and colored one green the other yellow... They smell heavenly!! But now I don't have enough oils for anymore batches until my oils get here today!! I couldn't have planned that better... Come on UPS!!

I totally forgot to add the lemon zest to my lemon/orange... that will teach me to lay out all the ingredients before starting....

I will definately let you know how they sell. I too have hought about them before, but haven't ordered. But I do think people in my market would be interested in them.


I use aaa cause they are in houston and shipping is cheap for me if I don't want to pick it up. Their prices have gone up though since I started using them. They have some muslin bags on their site, if you order the nuts and it just for personal use, might as well. I just ordered 2000 mislin bags from SFherbs. They are perfect for the soaps. I'll use the 3x5 bags I bought that were too small for my soaps for the nuts. I have about 400 of those left. But this place has muslin bags too, though I don;t think I like the look of them as much as the ones I use already.

chiknwhisperer, do you find that professional business cards are better than home generated?? I mean I designed my own business cards and got really nice business card stock and ran them thru the color printer.....

If its hard to see its cause I was having issues with my camera. But yes it is the same as the website but I took the site down until I feel comfortable in the amount of soaps that I have instock.

I'm soaping dragon's blood today. I reaslized I might not have enough for the market and ren fest. And I've got about 250 bars of soap that are ready to label.

Yeah, I'm finging that out!

I'll do dragon's blood today and then on sunday I think I'll do Black Raspberry Cream.

I need to do that hunter's soap soon too. I wanted to make it look camofloudged, but I'm not sure how to do that. I thought about sea kelp to give me that green brown, but I was worried it would add a scent to the final bars. I might just go with the classic black & white (anise scented)
