You might try freezing the cider... I do beer and let it go flat and then stick it in the freezer to form a slushie to keep the heat down.... I have had the orange goo from letting my milk sit in the lye... I really appreciate the help you guys provided about putting it in right after the lye disolves... My last batch came out a BEAUTIFUL light creamy color....

I got some liquid soap from TNS and some containers... they had cobalt blue and they are fantastic... I love blue containers... DD wants me to do her a watermelon bath gel... anyone try the liquid soap from TNS?? do you think if I used watermelon juice it would have enough scent or go with a fo??

I loved the swirl.... man that's awesome... maybe you should use that as your swap... hint hint... Don't be put off by the overpowering smell of Anise... it fades... I thought I would have to throw a batch out the Anise was so strong but now 4 wks later it is light and you can smell the cedarwood that I had with it...

Thats good to know about the anise, I will be looking forward to that!

I haven't tried the liquid soap from TNS, but I think the juice might run the risk of going bad unless you sterilize it and that would take away the scent. Bramble berry has a great watermelon fo. It's a bit candy like, but just in a sweet watermelon gum way. Kids love it.

Just a heads up, I'm closing the swap this afternoon so if there is anyone else who wants to join, you need to do it now. I'll send everyone a pm Tomorrow or if I don't have time because I gotta get some stuff done Tursday at the latest.

What has changed from what you normally do? New scents, oils, Temps?

I have been hand stirring my bigger batches because They were getting to that point where it was almost seize. I use the sb very little now, just until the oils and lye are emusified and then I hand stir.

If you can't get on the scent review board, let me if ou want me to look anything up. For some reason I can still get it to come up.

Has anyone here ever used Nature's Garden? They have really really resonable prices and they seem for the most part to have a good review on the scent board. Here is a link

I've been using new FO's. Fall and Christmas scents. I'll try the hand stirring thing. It has been going to trace real fast. Thanks for the tip. I tried to get on the scent review board before but for some reason I couldn't, I'll try again though.
