YOU are forcing me to buy new molds...darn you!! That is simply awesome.

HOW did you get those swirls??

I completly agree!!! Please teach me how to swirl like you do. My DH loves the swirls you did on that soap.. I don't get those kind of swirls

For that batch I did an In the Pot Swirl and then added a little to the top and swirled that. It's the same way I did the Black Raspberry Cream and Orange Patch

I'm breaking down and buying that mold...WHO is the manufacturer?

Awesome soaps....Morgaine. I have no soap making supplies...and you post a soap like that. ADDICTED totally....are we not?!?

Amen to no more lining! I have had soap stick twice in the log, but only when I tried unmold when the soap is still pretty soft. Mineral oil Lightly rubbed on the log mold and no more. I think the log stuck because it is so long (22.25 ") that it gets a suction that can be hard to break. It's only been the log mold that stuck.

I hated cutting those foam liners that I was using before. Soap didn't stick, but I was replacing them every week because they warp.

I use vaseline when I'm using my pvc pipe round molds...I think mineral oil is probably better because it is less sticky. Petroleum based oils do not saponify.

I just ordered all my oils...for classes, pumpkin festival, and the craft fairs. I soaped tonight with pureed pumpkin and put it in the blender with heavy CREAM first...and then added it at trace. IT is a lovely creamy orange color....I cannot wait to unmold it. I've been peeking on it all day.
