Soap Makers Help!

The sandalwood is nice. I can't wait to soap with it, I got it in hopes of having a more manly soap... this will do it nicely.
I did make that same recipe I posted earlier with lemon cake instead of the nutmeg clove. I used BB's yellow pigment and it came out looking like the inside of a 3 month olds diaper

THAT IS FANTASTIC Beautiful soap BYB!! I love it!!

Aussie--I've not had really good success with brambleberry labcolors either...maybe it's just me...but they never come out the color I want.
I've been having much success with oxides from TKB trading....and I've learned that a little goes a LONG WAY...and to mix them with distilled water first and THEN add to the traced soap....this prevents clumping. I've even added the oxides to the milk and poured it in at trace...as well. The swirl does not stick out and the soap is uniform all the way thru when slicing.

I have never tried goat milk soaps before.. I got some Nigerian Dwarfs last year and am waiting for the milk

Just curious if there is anyone here that lives in GA?

Man I have WAY more soaping stuff than I thought I did! We've been moving into the new house and it has taken me 3 truck loads to bring everything over!!! I have 83 fo and eo's alone! I think I might need some proffesional help!

ME TOO....I just totally SEIZED my clean cotton recipe...it traced almost immediately....looked REALLY grainy and started clumping as soon as I poured into the mold. I think I got a false trace...we'll see. I'm leaving it alone...cross your fingers for me.

Were you soaping really cold or really hot? So far (

) I have not had a false trace, but when I soap warm I can get a really fast trace and not have time for my scent. But I have tweeked my recipe some to down the palm and shea a bit and that seems to have helped.
