Soap Makers Help!

I just went to look & the lye I get is a 2lb bottle. I can do two batches of soap with alittle left over.
The batch I make is larger than the size nanakat was posting about & for the life of me I can't find my notebook for soap. Got to love moving.

I have different recipes with different amounts of lye. The bigger the batch the larger the measure of lye.

Steph you need to go back through this thread & read, you will see pictures, links & recipes. You can then start to understand some of the process. I think I read forever learning before I ever started. That first batch is nerve racking.

My first batch had no scent or anything but soap. It is my son's fav & he won't use anything else.

I went to the local library & checked out all their books on soap making, it was fun!
