So I have been trying this technique to help quiet down the crowing in the early morning, however there isn't much info on the thread nor any responses to my posts!
Perhaps someone can give me some detailed information of how to successfully sock a rooster.
We have a frizzled sizzle and a silkie. I have used a child's tube sock, an ankle sock as well as long sock with our the ribs like a tube has!
At one point, the crow was muffled, but have not been able to acquire the same result a second time.
