Did any of you guys try the "throwback" line of Pepsi products this summer? It used sugar instead of HFCS and was way better, IMO.
Apparently it was a successful trial, too, because Pepsi's re-releasing throwback on 12/28 for another 8-weeks. I hope it (or something like it with real sugar) eventually becomes a full-time product.
Something else I find interesting is that my grocery store carries Mexican Coca-Cola in 16oz glass bottles.. It's spendy, but we have a big population of migrant workers in this area, some of whom apparently won't drink American soda.. I've never had Mexican Coke before (either kind...lol) but I've heard from other Americans that the taste is head and shoulders above the HFCS stuff we have here.
