Soft crop? Spitting up water?

I have a chicken who has been having a bunch of problems, so I'm kind of paranoid. I've had her inside for a visit today, and her crop is now feeling really soft. Is this just her digesting the food that was in it? She has also been having a problem where when she drinks water and dips her head back down the water will come spilling back out. As though she hasn't swallowed it properly. What's going on with my poor baby!?

Sounds like crop binding. I too have a pullet with the same symtoms and was searching the threads for some advice . there are many threads dealing with crop bind on this site and searching them would be a good idea.
