No she has completely normal behavior, active, happy, alert. Nothing seems to be off but earlier she went to her laying spot in the coop and tried to lay even though she had already layed a soft shelled egg.Is she egg bound?
I put eggshell in her feed but i will try this thank youGive her a calcium citrate +D3 tablet. You can get these in the vitamin/ supplement section of any grocery or pharmacy. Just pop it in her beak, even though these look a bit large she won't have any trouble swallowing it. Do this once a day for 5 to 7 days.
Do you have oyster shell always available for your chickens? This will help. Just provide it in a separate bowl or dish and the laying hens will help themselves.
