Soft shelled eggs

I think it's pretty common for eggs or egg laying to get a bit wonky after treatment, especially if they are newer or older layers on top of it.

The calcium should help. Please keep us posted, I'm wishing the best for your girl.

pretty sure my birds ate the content of a shell-less egg and left the membrane.
Agree, they almost always end up eating it… luckily that means there may be evidence leftover on combs and wattles if you look closely enough lol
