Soft Spot on egg?

I have one egg that has a soft spot in it. So soft that when I touch it, it indents. The rest of the egg is ok. I have grit there too.Any thoughts?

if it is a new laying hen it may take some time for her to get things worked out, on making the egg to be hard all over. give it time

I'm not sure who is laying it. I rescued 7 caged birds, so they may be just getting into the groove of things.
