Soils lump on hens ankle, no obvious pain

Hey there, my legbar hen Bobbie has a soild lump on her ankle and I was hoping someone might have some insight.

I touched it twice and there was no pain reaction. She's not limping or starving herself, seems perfectly healthy and I don't notice anything off about her behaviour.

The other hens have no lumps and are also acting normally so I don't think it's contagious.

I'll probably take her to the vets to have it removed but if anyone could tell me what to expect I'd be very grateful.

Oh wow, I knew roosters had spurs obviously but I didn't think hens could grow them. Thank you for telling me this, it's a big relief
