Solar Eclipse 2024 Coming April 8th!

How do y'all take pictures like that!

I'm shooting with a DSLR and a purpose-designed solar filter. Only about 60 bucks, so not a bad little accessory. I've used it more than I thought I would.

They canceled our eclipse due to bad weather. Prolly try to slip it in sometime next week.

The sun was out though so I'm kind of surprised I didn't see anything different. Just sun.

I think it's starting here. It's getting darker even though there's no cloud coverage.

I also use my DSLR and telephoto lens, but due to my Solar filter getting lost in the mail, I settled with this little $20 filter last minute It worked though! Cant complain

Wow, that was absolutely beautiful and amazing, 10000% worth the trip

Totality was amazing!!!! The chickens did not go in, it got dark too fast, they just hunkered down by the garden during the darkness

We lucked out. It's a little cloudy but nor enough to block the sun. I made peanut butter and pickle sandwiches and a place just around the corner is selling ice cream!
