Solar panels

I'm planning to build a pretty fancy coop... SO I want to add solar panels, lights, auto doors, etc. Does anybody know where to get some solar panels?

how big is your coop? i just ran power to the coop on a 20 amp breaker but put panels on my house.

look at my recent post...i got all of the info off of here...i can leave my chickens for about 10 days and they have rain fed water(heated), 200 lbs of feed, deep bedding, auto door and back roll outs with heated seedling mats.

my only bottle neck is that the roll outs only hold about 175-200 eggs

the other thing with solar...my coop is 12x24....with 2x6 rafters every 12 feet and they span 16 feet at 14°...metal roof with 1/2 inch fascia. i have never built anything until COVID...i don’t know the weight tolerance of my roof other than it can withstand snow.

5 feet by 5 feet (25 sqft)
