How soon after you gave the calcium did she pass the egg?
This is terrible, but I didn't look at the time! I think it was around 15-20 minutes. It did not seem like a long time to me at all. It happened relatively quickly.
It was really easy to see that something was off. Sage is usually gregarious, happy, chatty and energetic. She's the apple of our eyes.
When I put her outside, she went straight for the sheltered duck house. It's just as well, as it's almost time for the gang to go in there anyway.
I'll be buying Cal Citrate tonight and giving it to her on a daily basis until I see things are improved.
