Solve This Mystery: 8 Hens = 14 Eggs in < 12 hrs

Who Can Solve This Mystery?
The Plot: I have 8 hens, they're 7 mos old. Four RIR, 3 Barred Rock, 1 Delaware. Average is 7 eggs per day and they lay before noon. One occasionally prefers afternoon laying, and one doesn't lay every day. The 4 RIRs lay perfectly formed, large brown eggs. The 3 Barred Rocks lay light brown, medium, pointy eggs. Each night I check the nest boxes when I lock them up to make sure they're clean and fluffy. Last night? Empty as usual.

The Mystery: At 10 am this morning, there were 13 eggs in the same nest box. 13 brown, perfectly formed, lovely, large eggos.
(oh, +1 light brown, meduim, pointy egg laid in the bunkhouse just now)
Twelve hrs ago - all the nest boxes were empty. Zero eggos.
Now? *poof!* 14 eggos out of 8 hens.! Magic? Or are my hens really bad at math?

Worth knowing:
The neighbor down the road gets his eggs from me becasue his two old hens don't lay anymore. His hens have never walked the 1/2 mile to my yard.

My best guess: I have confused egg gremlins who donate eggs instead of stealing them. Or I have gremlins who lay eggs. Idk. Help.
I don't know if this is right or not I'm a newbie too but when my hands were around that age 6 to 8 months I guess a couple of mine laid two eggs a day for like a month not every day but you know pretty close could that be it just cuz they're young

The mystery remains unsolved! However, it's gained some new twists:
I have 8 hens. Seven are egg laying machines (Barred Rock, RIR) one is... my Fail Chicken (skinny, extreme talker, Delaware).
Some days I get 8 eggs. Occasionally only 5.
Average is 7.
Someone is randomly laying an egg at night. I find it on the floor.
Only the RIR lay reliably on time - late morning. The others? Sometimes not until 3pm.

I have some that start laying at 6am, some midday layers, and 2 that wait until 2-4pm to even think about going into the nest boxes. I do my first egg collection around 1pm and then go back at 8pm to take my scissor beak into the coop (she absolutely refuses to go in or stay in if the pop door is open) and collect the eggs that were laid in the afternoon. Generally, I collect 6-8 eggs in the first basket and 1-2 more at bed time. Out of 13 pullets, I'm consistently getting 8-10 eggs a day, though #10 yesteday was from a new layer, completely different than anything that's been previously laid!

BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Nice!!
I wasn't brave enough to break open the giant weird egg. I gave it to a friend who wanted it and recommended she "boil it for well over 5 minutes and have a big, sharp knife handy when you crack it open".
Here's a pic of the weird one. It weighed 3.2 oz. no way it came out of my hens. Its way bigger than any double yolker they've laid and its UGLY - the top is all bumps and dimples, it has ridges, wrinkles and you can't rly see, but it looks like it has veins running through it.
(Now boarding the Nope Train to HellNoVille...)
Oddly I have had a couple eggs like that big one in a dozen of jumbo eggs from the market. They are shaped weird like that but were white. In some of the jumbo egg dozens sometimes I get double yokers in 8-9-10 of the eggs!
