Ok Hubby is making me mad! I have eggs pipping and zipping as we speak (that hubby wanted me to hatch) and he tells me he is going to shut off the power so he can hook power up to his shop!

I know I can cover the bator with a blanket to keep temp up, but then I am afraid the humidity will go to high.
I need some ideas from people who have delt with power outages.
What did you do?
Thanks!

So he can't wait until the hatch is over? If it were me I'd tell him he better put a bed in the shop while he's at it because if he shuts off the power knowingly during a hatch that's where he's gonna be sleeping!!

I would love to, but he can only do it today or who know when he will have another chance. He has been waiting on this shop since last fall. He thinks he can do it in about an hour so I will just wrap a towel around it and hope for the best! Maybe it will start raining again he wont be able to work on it!

All is good! I guess I made him feel guilty enough with my fretting over the humidity that he said he will just wait.
