WOOOO HOOOOO!!!! Got my first one ever yesterday evening. It was a doe and she wasn't very big but it still felt good. The rush when I was aiming was incredible!!! The shot was a crappy one but got it done. I think I was breathing so hard and my heart was pounding out of my chest so hard, it affected my shot. I'm a crack shot at a paper target but this was different. It worked out just as I planed, she came through just when and where I thought she would and stopped right at the perfect spot broadside. BOOM!!! Only went about 25 yards. Not very big for around here, 94lbs, but I'm happy with that. I got the loins and hams and my dogs got the shoulders, ribs, neck, liver, heart, ect... Couldn't go today, can't go tomorrow(5 year wedding aniversary), can't wait till the next day. My wife is such a smart ass. She's used to the big mule deer in Montana. When she saw it she chuckled and said; what did you do, get a brown marker and color in the little white spots??? lol Real funny one she is. lol Thanks for the help everyone.
