Hello all! So I got 6 baby chicks 24 weeks ago and they were 2-3 days old, from what I was told. I raised them inside until they could go outside and they all are in one coop and I let them out to roam the yard almost everyday in the afternoon until dark. They then have me carry them to their coop at night! (spoiled much lol)

I have 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes and 2 Brahams (a light and dark)

My question/ concern is that 1 Braham and 1 Orpington have not gotten their combs and wattlers.. The rest of them have. Also the rest seem to be picking on those 2. Is it normal for combs to grow in differently on the same breed? Will it effect egg production? I think only 4 are laying so far. Not sure which ones. Ive included a pic so you can see them. The 2 in the back are the ones without the combs. You can clearly tell.

OH NO! please dont say that lol. No one has tried to crow yet
Ok.... I take it back.
The only one I'm guessing is the one on the right.
She is probably a girl, the pics is just blurry to me so I can see the feather too good.

Hey There,

What is happening is very normal, they will take some time.
Then... Sorry to say, but the only two hens are the Brahma's!

All five pictured are pullets. As others have said, the two in the back are just slower maturing than their flockmates.
OK awesome thank you all! I was just worried. These are my first chickens and i just want to make sure they are all good. They are my littles babies.
