we have a free roaming flock around our farm, last week while hubby was at work someone dumped 2 dogs that basically masacred our flock (+30) I was out of town and hubby has been up to his ears in work so he came and shot the dogs, after a few days a few chickens, ducks and 2 turkeys started foaming at the mouth, he gathered them up and put them in the chicken house , half of them died half lived but we would like to know why a week later 3 more are doing it, the simptoms are.. Foaming, acting all crazy and legs buggered, some ided about 2 hrs after showing simptoms, the ones that survided look great? The ages range between 2 months old to 14 months. Have anyone have something like that happening any advise? thanks

Sounds like what a toad frog would do to my dogs when they grab one, but they never died from it

Do you possibly have poison frogs of some kind in your area?

Birds do not get rabies only mammals
