Some kind of bugs in my hay?!...

I just layed out a handful of Timothy hay on my run floor and then looked back and realized the hay bail is swarming with little flying nat looking bugs. What could it be and are they going to infest my run and chickens now? This is my first time around with real country living and still not sure of what I'm doing sometimes.

In a moist environment or during a weather change, particularly around rotting bedding/food/ect bugs can spring up. Spreading the bedding out and keeping the area dry and ventilated will likely lead to a disappearance of the bugs. Meal worm beetles and worms are also found in moist coops, flies during hot weather and mosquitoes during rainy evenings.
