here are some of my animals. i just got two more goats saturday. i started with 22 chicks and i'm down to five now. grrrrrr some doggies are going to be finding new homes.
this is max and hunter

i've got three more goats lined up to get over the next month and a half. i'm getting more chickens eventually and probably more ducks. i also have rabbits, three other dogs and a bunch of cats.

Love the pics. Ive got a few goats that were given to us, but I would like to get a few more for 4-H but Im not sure what a reasonable price is. Any ideas on pygmy or nubian?

amysue2012- it depends on if they are registered. if they are registered you can be looking at up to $500 on a nubian. i've never seen one that high but ya never know. i'm thinking of getting a nubian but not sure yet. your unregistered goats are obviously lower. i've never seen a pygmy over $175. alot of this depends on where you live though. there are pygmies all over the place here. ginger(my white nigerian) is registered. i paid $400 for her bred. she's not bred yet though. she wasn't in the mood. cinabon got demoted to pet quality because she throws extra teats. i got her and her baby for $200. i don't show so i don't care about registration, just about milk. she's a good milker as is ginger. if you're looking for 4-H alot of people give discounts on their goats so you have that in your favor. i can't really say what a reasonable price is though because it depends on who you buy from and how great the goat is.

Animallover606- i don't know that i'm actually getting rid of any dogs yet. but hunter the golden retriever would be on the list if i do get rid of any.
