Thank youWe love her a lot! She is protective of them! When we would have them all out on a shower curtain in the basement to let them stretch their legs a little and play with them, the dog would make sure they all stayed on the mat. If one peeps loudly, she gets very concerned. She loves to see them and once in a while gives them kisses.
I am excited to see how their relationship is once the chickens are full grown! It could get interesting. View attachment 1335443 View attachment 1335444 View attachment 1335445
My dog is very curious about my 2 week old chicks.
He gets very excited and acts like he wants to play with them.
I only let him smell the chicks right now and watch them over the top of the brooder.
It’s my hope that they will get used to him and let him sniff them.

I am afraid of that. At what point to roosters begin to crow, or when can you know that you know that a chicken is a boy?
