Some of your best coops!

Love it! In my childhood neighborhood, a good friend was a "Clanton", well known in Tombstone. He owns...lot's of places in the real Tombstone and is involved in the reenactments in the town. He'd love your coop!

We just finished ours.

One thing I didn't take a pic of, that I need to, is the ramp. Not because it's anything amazing but my 12 yo made it. We had a board that was from an old set of truck sides and it has a metal L shaped bracket thing on the end. My son took pieces of old molding that we had laying around and nailed them on for treads. Then my husband put a notched 2 x 4 below the pop door and the ramp hooks over that notch so we can remove it anytime we need to, and it's heavy enough that it's very secure.

I'm with you I love looking at everyones coops. Some of them are built better than my house its unreal how well built they are. Dang chickens at BYC live like kings & queens. No one here spoils their chickens right.

Its funny you say that...as I was laying the linoleum flooring in my coop I was reflecting on the fact teat more than half the HUMANS in this world would love to live in my new coop. It just looks old cause we sided it with recycled fence wood but it is sturdy as they come with a thousand bucks of lumber. Now it has power and water too. So many folks would love to live in that thing.

My tiny lil' chicken shack. I don't have the acreage that most of you do.

Coop is 10x16x8, plenty of nestboxes, roosts, and some storage. Run is another 1200 square feet
