Some one let the cat out of the bag & ended up with feral squab !?

Took a bit to even the temp out and get it to his liking but FJ officially has a carry bag/nest set up with handwarmers in half a ceramic pot under a washcloth and some paper towels! Now I don't need to worry about him waddling of the end of my bed if I leave the room for a moment! And I can take him with me places on the down low

Lol he has decided that post meal "bathing" is not appreciated, also talked to my local breeder and will be going over to his place tomorrow for some advice and possibly finding a companion for the feather little stomach XD
I like to observe how our birds influence and change us. May I point out that yesterday your local breeder was 'veeery expensive' and now today - that's not an obstacle if it means providing a companion for your bird friend. He or she is working his magic!

That is sooooo perfect! :clap

@biophiliac haha yeah he breeds Swift's(the very expensive kind!) But he also has NY flying flights although he's doesn't do them as much anymore so we'll see what he can do for me :D and The baby is totally content in his new "nest" slept almost
Two hours straight this after noon with a poop break or 2 in between:)

Also I have a 4×2 hutch(used to breed rats) that I plan on using as his starter cage outdoors as he feathers out and builds muscle. Anyone know how long till I can leave him out on his own? I assume till he's completely feathered but obviously ferals live outside in the same weather so idk!

Yeah! Went and met up with him this afternoon to see the birds and such! Happy to give me not only a companion but a few breeding pairs once the loft/aviary is set up, :D FJ is more food focused right now any ways
