some one please help

they're all doing wonderful. they started to grow their tail feathers and are feathering out along their shoulders and chest.the one with the bad eye is getting an exotic coloring.it looks like he'll have brown, black and white just like his older brothers.(not sure what they'll be,hen or roosters.)

Miraculously wonderful!

Thanks for sharing the good news!

they're all doing great. one looks to be a roo and the other a hen. they just survived a week's rain, thundering, and lightning.

they all died except one!

they were all fine the night before they died. we have someone living in our yard(going through a divorce) and his kids come every other weekend. the next thing I knew was that the chicks died. we only manage to have one because it was inside keeping a chick that hatched a few weeks earlier(only one) company. every time his kids come we lose a bird or more. we're down to 17 chickens. originally had 20+.

Very sorry you lost the little ones you'd been trying to TLC along!

It sounds like those kids a serious danger to your birds! What do you think you will need to do to protect the rest of the birds?

next time they come over I'm going to tell them not to touch them, feed them or even come near them.

Sounds like unfortunately necessary! Do you think their dad will monitor them enough & make sure they follow your instructions? I really hope you won't have to lose any more of your chickies...

WT--? How old are these kids, and how irresponsible is the father? I'm saying this as a single parent - something like that would only happen once, I would be mortified if my kid were associated with an animal dying like that.

I'm sypathetic on the whole divorce front thing - good that you're helping someone out, but during his parenting time he has to be responsible for his children. Please stress this to him - because this is not a one time event.

What are they doing to them?
