Some sort of cross breed or something special?

She looks like a Dark Brahama..
What kind of comb does she have?
If it is a Pea comb she is a Dark Brahama.
If it is a single comb she is a Cochin cross...

( She's not a Wandotte. She dosent have a rosecomb... )

The Dark Brahma's are definitely the closest I have seen thus far, and that also identified the rooster that our three ladies hang with. The pics are of at least 2 different ladies, and as for their combs, I haven't a clue what the difference is, I am not up on the workings of chickens, yet.

That's a dark brahma. Especially if they got the "Ornamental Layer Special" from McMurray. I have one brahma from them, and she's great, but her leg feathering is a bit lacking.

It's a dark Brahma, not a cross. The colour pattern is Silver Pencilled, not Pencil Laced & certainly not Silver Laced. Not sure what's "unbramish"? about her feet & legs.

She is a Dark Brahma, her leg feathers might just be alittle worn depending on her age and conditions she was kept in. My Brahmas sometimes wear their leg feathers down from free ranging or matings.
