The last thing anyone wants is a loss, I am truely sorry to here that the chick passed, but you seem like a good chicken mom you were only concerned like any mom would be for their own kid. That kind of passion is something I can relate to. You did all you could, God Bless!

Sorry for the loss. It is a shame something couldn't have been done in time. Suggested reading The Chicken Health Handbook by Gail Damerow. Costs around $20 Very helpful for all chicken keepers!

I'm sorry that he passed. I am also sorry that you were *outed* in public for pm'g the staff here. All of us starting out (even the old timers

) have had an occasion when we over-reacted, panicked, or were scared by a turn of events when a chick hatched.

Be assured that not everyone here thinks you were DEMANDING anything. You were scared, freaked out, and didn't know what to do. The up side of this is that the next time it happens, you'll know what it is and will know how to handle it and what to expect.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Sometimes nature just doesn't get it right and there's nothing we can do. Again, my sympathies.

(edited for spelling)

I'm sorry he didn't make it. Some of the time they will, it just kind of depends on how strong they are when they do get out. Some of the time a day or more just laying in the bator staying warm and resting and it works out.

Sorry you lost the baby. Everybody learns that one the hard way and it's never easy to wait and watch. I wish you better luck next time.

You summed up my total mentality. And I sent my number to admin and moderators which I am sorry for and I hope my number wont be abused. However I had a couple offer their numbers which I called and got help.

sorry to hear your chick didn't make it. It can be scary sometimes when their little lives are in our hands.
