Now you have the duck house cutting out the light to the pond which will probably reduce the amount of feed it can produce.
I think your ideal is great, I just suspect you are expecting to much to fast. The people that review your loan are going to be asking the same questions as I have.... If it was easy everyone would do it.

I Understand..

Somewhere around i found a book where its written

3 bigha of pond(thrice the amount i have) is sufficient for 2000 ducks..

but that book is only source i have.. i do not have any other references..

in another book its written i only can put 70 ducks on 1 bigha of pond..

which is correct who knows..

i need a web reference for this

My wife's cousins in the Philippines have 300 duck layers. These ducks also swim and defecate in a large pond where they raise and harvest tilapia. Furthermore, they use a lot of locally available feed for these ducks such as herding them into the rice fields for leftovers, and preparing snails. She says it is a lot of work.

We currently use a four acre wooded pond to support our 20 muscovy breeders. Next year we will have 40 breeders. I don't think it could comfortably support more that 80. From there we pasture the offspring until market.

It's nice to have a dream, and make a living at it too.
