Don't feel bad though....a friend of ours had the same problem (although her silkie roo didn't have waddles like that!). One day, someone was crowing. So she had to hide out and wait. Sure enough, here he came down the ramp crowing up a storm.

Poor boy, he was her favorite, and the family pet.

Needless to say, he is living his like out at a local farm with his cutie girlfriend

Maybe you can find a place like that also. Just ask around your local feed store.

If I were you, I'd start ordering pullets only! It's hard to rehome in certain areas!

Even if you order pullets only, sexing is an art that results in about 10% mistakes. Trust me, I had a sexed pullet named "Bess", who became "Bart". Sweet Lt. Brahma boy.

Silkie in the back. Look at the combs and waddles - they are always the earliest teller.
