I have a rooster actually several one every day in the past week who when I see them they are flopped over on their sides not able to walk and dont try to get away when I pick them up and also wont drink or eat anything. My hens have cocci so I assumed my roosters also have also had cocci so I started treating them with corid in their water but they are not responding to it. I have had 5 roosters 1 every day who I have found in the same condition as the one above I give them 1ml of corid with syringe incase they have not been getting the corid and then a good cup of water they then poop out liquid runny diarrhea and then with in 1-2 hours they die. Could anybody help me out? I have researched for hours and cant seem to find anything that specifically fits whats happening to my roosters. Thanks in advance.

1ml corrid in a syringe

your over dosing them

Dang it. :( well I guess I learned my lesson. But what about the not being able to walk? What would cuase that?

Well the rooster last night didnt. He just seemed like he couldnt walk this morning was found off the porch with his legs up in the air. Then about 2 hours later got up and walked away. But this cant be the case for all of them. Due to actually finding one dead inside his run and another one with his legs off to the side in his run when I picked him up and put him in his cage he could stand up. Gave him a bowl and food and water no medicine and he was dead in the morning.

What was the original dose of Corid that you used in their water?

1 tablespoon of corid per gallon. Or 9.5ml per gallon. Difference of .5ml. Once I got the syringe day 2 I started putting 9.5ml per gallon.
