I don't want a blow up.

I have yet to have an egg blow up.. they start stinking usually.

I agree, These are shipped eggs with makes me even more nervous.

Eh.. shipped eggs... possibly later development. I have had good luck shipping eggs within my state hatch rate, but terrible hatching shipped from afar... 3 hatched out of 36 eggs and all were boys with minor SOP mark downs. Hope yours is better results!

Does it count if I didn't know this rule existed? LOL

The only rule I know of that hasn't been disproved is roosters don't lay eggs... everything else is a guideline!

Well I did it..... looks like only one I’d developing out of 14.... one blood ring and nothing in the others... hopefully the second group does better....

Sorry for the poor development. With my last batch of eggs, I candled every single day. Yes, I know that was probably overkill, but all the ones that made it past day 3 hatched! So I don't think you have to worry about anything. Also, I've heard that you only have to worry about an egg blowing up around day 13 or 14.
