someone gave me chicks what breed (pic heavy)

ok so my step nieces (19 & 23) had been giving 6 chicks by their mother for easter (

), neither wanted them so they asked me and of course i said yes, poor things had pasty butt, feet were covered in dry poop. well anyway got them all cleaned. what i know is their mother got them at TSC, i dont know how old they are or the breeds. any help will be greatly appreciated...here are some pics, i can get individual ones when hubby gets home..3 black chicks and 3 buff colored (with white coming in on their wings) chicks.

She probably got them from the "black pullet" and "red pullet" bins which would be production layers of mixed type. I'd guess less than a week old.

there about a week old and the light ones are Buff Orphingtons and the Black one are Black sex lings or austrolorps

Id bet mixes too, maybe sex links ??

Check the order forms from TSC and see what they were offering then

Looks like what my sex-links and RIRs look like when they are 1 week or so old.

You can see the brown in the black chicks so I'm thinking black sex link. The buffs I'm not sure about.

I would be willing to bet that they came from TSC and if that is the case then the "Red" ones are Cherry Eggers and the Black ones are there Austrolorp Cross.
