That's AWESOME, toooooooo funny/cute, I like that even better than my Serama zonked out on his side...

I don't have pictures of it yet, but a couple of our chicks have gotten so tame that they allow my 7yr old DD to hold them in her hand on their back, & will fall asleep while she gives them gentle little belly/chest rubs!

When I got my first chicks and I saw some sleeping and I thought they were dead by they way they were positioned and went to reach in and take them out of the brooder. They startled me when they jumped up and started scattering. I guess I scared them as much as they scared me.

- Hysterical comment, Beau. I might have to use that. I think I've had too many "poke it with a stick" moments in my life. So funny.

I'm glad to know that about chicks. I'm pretty sure I already posted the "bump on the neck" newbie post and TOTALLY freaked when I found my Red dust bathing/sunning herself on her side. I was certain that she was dead. I would have had a complete heart attack if I found a chickie like that. OMG, are they the cutiest things EVER?!

How about when get a little older and they roost? Mine would sleep with their head hanging really low.. like they were going to fall off?

Enjoy these little babies... they grow super duper fast!

Laura hollered so LOUD when she found one dust bathing her first time - she was SURE it was dying. I about laughed myself in half, it was too late for my jeans....
