Hi, all... I LOVE the other pixs that got posted, and am glad to know that I am not alone in having a Newbie heart failure....
I will also keep in mind the warnings about dust bathing and HOPEFULLY not have a coronary
the first time I see THAT!!!!!!!!!! (forewarned is forearmed...)
Oh and FYI, I know it looks like 2 different chicks, but is actually the same one, with darker & lighter camera exposure... The flash woke it up, it gave me an ANNOYED sleepy look, then flopped over again for pix #2!!
It is actually a Serama (my only one out of the bunch), and the pix with the "crumbles" next to it is actually just chick starter that I crunched up extra fine to accomodate his itsy-tiny size (someone on this thread asked if it was oyster shells). He (or actually SHE, I hope) is my 4 yr old daughter's absolute FAVORITE, and will flop over & zonk out in her toasty little hand like this, too!! Otherwise has tons of energy & causes a general ruckus among the other (larger!!!!) chicks, likes shiny things including their eyeballs
.... good thing they are much taller than he/she is!!!!!!!!!
