someone help me please

You did good. You will see them start to act better soon. I would add some Tylan to their water too at 3cc per 1 gallon of the injectable. I always can tell big difference in turkey in morning after giving them shot.

We have done the 3cc in the water but she is still all humped up right . I hope something gives soon so she can get better because i hate seeing my animals like this .
Thank you so much for all the help Kim and Wayne

I gave them what Kim and Wayne told me to do give them a 1/2 cc of Tylan 50 and 1 cc of Penicillin and the turkeys are about 10 to 15 pounds each but my toms are about 20 to 22 pounds .
I would think that a 20 pound turkey would get twice that of a 10 pounder, but I don't use either of those drugs. I would ask Kim and Wayne how much to give each of the different weights. I know that when I give Baytril, Metronidazole and Safeguard, I give it according to weight. That is what my vet told me to do. But you don't need to worry, I think that whatever you gave them is a good start.

Hope the storm doesn't cause any problems for you!

I have done dosages on adult turkey then half grown turkey and none of my huge big toms ever been sick. I usually don't go over 1/2cc of tylan per mix with penicillin because of it being so hard on tissues. I have had dead tissue spots on birds and don't plan on that again. If I wanted them to have more tylan I give it orally. 1/2cc in mouth for them to swallow if I am concerned they aren't getting well or concerned they are too big and need more. I also make sure the turkey ate something too. I will take weak lamb feeding tube and push it in a chicken, turkey, goose or ducks mouth down their throat into their crop. You can feel it through the skin and give them a 60cc feeding syringe full of ensure. It will help a weak one get some liquid and nutrition.

It be bought at any vet supply or tractor supply or coop. KV Vet supply has them and Valley Vet supply has them also online. I also order syringes and equipment from shopmedvet.com also. I will draw up some in syringe and push it slowly in their mouth little at time watching for them to swallow it so as not to choke them and get them to drink that way if I feel they are not eating or drinking. I have put sick bird in clothes basket with newspaper and rags to have them in out of weather and keep them in house where warmer if I am concerned they will die from weather. A sick bird loves to be covered up and will readily stay in basket to get doctored.

I do something similar, but I use Kaytee Baby Bird Food mixed with lactated ringers solution (LRS) or Pedialyte. If the bird has not been eating/drinking, I start with a smaller amount just to make sure they don't vomit. The most I have been able to give a bird in one sitting was 120ccs, and that was a 5 pound RIR hen. I had some very sick ones that would vomit after just 15ccs, so beware. This is a good link that shows how to do it: http://forum.backyardpoultry.com/viewtopic.php?t=7933
