Bummer. I was hoping her crop would be smaller than last night. No such luck. I hope she pulls through this. I checked her for other lumps didn't find any.

You could try upping the volume of liquid and see what happens.

Ok. She ate a little bit this morning. Her tail feathers arnt pointing straight down like they were last night. I'm still going to give her water especially if she ate a little scramble egg. What's your take on her poop? That's how it's been since she came down with this.

Keep in mind that the 30ml number I threw out out the beginning of this was a number I felt was pretty safe for you to start with. My full sized blind hens get about 120ml twice a day, so if you think you can get more in her safely, try it.

Ok. I will increase it a little. I think this just might take time if it is heat stroke to get her back up and running. But I do think her crop impaction is secondary to something else. So I will just keep tubing her and hopefully she gets better. I think she is a little but more aware than what she was yesterday.

Can you get a close up of a fresh poop, preferably one on a tile floor? You say you wormed a couple of months ago, what did you worm with and how much did she get?

-Kathy

Sure lol. She just pooped.

I wormed her with Rooster Booster. Directions said to put it in their feed and I put it out for 7 days. I wasn't a fan of it, so I am not going to use it again. Now I have Valbazen for the next time.
