Someone selling "show chicks" on CL

Sorry, I don't want to steal the thread, but can anyone tell me what 4h stands for? I thought is a youth development program, what is it mean in poultry? Thank you.

4H is a kid thing, the kids show animals (poultry included), baked goods, photos, any number of different things. 4H has become very competitive in certain areas for certain projects, so for your kids to have a chance, you spend your evenings online researching chickens and goats and rabbits and horses.

I'll def let you know what I find. I would go to the breeder myself, as he sells them cheaper, but he's in MN, and I don't much care to drive to MN for chicks. I'll pay the extra to get them closer. I too had a problem with the ad, but after a lengthy discussion with him, it sounds like it will at least be worth the drive to IA to look at them.
