Hi i have a 8 week old lavender silkie named Gizmo.I know its really too early to tell but i was hoping someone who raises silkies might have a good eye and give me more of an idea before i get too attached because if he/she is a roo i might have to find him a new home.Gizmo can be mean to my other chicks at feeding time,thats when my buff orpington rooster intervenes and pushes Gizmo away from other chicks.Dont know if that helps Thanks!

Well I have never owned a Silkie. My friend had them. And your one looks a lot more like the girls. So hopefully it's a she!

Have to agree I have four silkie .. mine are all hens alsmot 5 years old now

Thank you! I had a feeling because her attitude and vibe screams girl shes sweet but she can be really sassy and shes scared of every little thing. Hubby thinks shes a roo lol
