Hard to see the edges of the wound....maybe easier in person.

It is hard to get a good picture. It looks like the hip joint bone is sticking out where the top leg bone was ripped off.

I did some feathers trimming but I wasn’t sure how far down on the feathers it would be safe to cut at. I’m under the impression feathers bleed if you cut them to short.
